2009 ADJUNCT EXCELLENCE-IN-TEACHING AWARDS

Eligibility:  Current FIU ADJUNCTS who have taught at FIU for the past three years,
have taught at least two courses each year, and who have not won
the award in the past three years.

Nominations for the awards can be made by deans, chairs, program directors,
and faculty--full-time and adjunct. (No self nominations.)

Deadline for nominations:  April 10, 2009
 

A written nomination letter should include:

•    Nominator’s name, title, department, phone, and relationship to nominee
•    Nominee’s name, department, email address, home address, and phone
•    A short statement of the reasons for the nomination

Nominations should be emailed to academy@fiu.edu,
faxed to 348-3766, or mailed to the Academy for the Art of Teaching, GL 154 (UP)

Nominees will be contacted and provided with application packets
as soon as nominations are received.  Completed portfolios
will be due by May 1, 2009.
