Membership

The FIU ACSSA Chemistry Club welcomes students of all majors interested in promoting the learning of careers and research opportunities in Chemistry available to FIU students to join the Chemistry Club. Those interested in participating in community and university outreach events to promote chemistry and science careers to students at the elementary, middle, high school, and collegiate levels are also invited to learn more about the club.

The easiest way to become a member is to attend our general meeting to learn about our ongoing events that you can get involved in. Membership forms and sign-in-sheets are usually brought to allow you to become an official member and sign up to receive our e-mail updates.

OrgSync allows the Chem Club keep track of events, services, and members in an organized, efficient manner. The registration process is quick and should take no longer than 10 minutes.

To register please follow the instructions below:

1. Go to www.OrgSync.com.

2. Click on the upper right "Register" link.

3. Choose FL and click on the "Register" button next to Florida International University.

4. Fill in all your information and click on the "Create" button.

5. You will be taken to the "Default Profile Options" section.

6. Fill out the first page and click the "Next" button.

7. Continue to fill out your information. Where it says "Student ID", type your Panther ID (This is important for validating your registration).

8. Click "Finish" when you are done.

9. After saving, you are taken to your account. Click on the button that says "Join an Org" located on the top panel.

10. Type "FIU Chemistry Club" in the search box and hit enter.

11. Click on the "Join Now" button.

12. When asked for the password, type in "acsfiu" (case sensitive).
