The Office also serves as a broker between the faculty with their vast reservoir of expertise and journalists, often in need of an impartial authoritative voice to lend depth and credibility to their stories. To aid in the daily effort to put faculty and reporters together, Media Relations has launched its web-based sourcebook, a database of hundreds of FIU experts who have self-identified as being open to calls from journalists.
