Along with our love of a good time, AOII’s also know when it is time to hit the books. In fact, one of AOII’s strongest values is academic achievement and excellence. Our chapter is dedicated to helping each sister maintain grades and reach her full academic potential. With the hard work of our Vice President of Academic Development, sisters work diligently all year long to ensure that collectively our grades and academic achievements are outstanding.
AOII collectively maintains a strong GPA that is above the All Greek Requirement and above the All Greek Average. We currently hold one of the top two GPA's in the Panhellenic Council and one of the top 5 GPA's in the entire Greek community.
In order to maintain our academic success we hold sister study halls during midterms and finals week. Throughout the semester we hold study groups in the library and the Residence Halls to ensure that everyone is on the right track. Sisters who achieve a 4.0 pay reduced dues and sisters with outstanding GPA's are honored and rewarded. Finally, the sisters with the top 10 GPA’s every year are invited to the AOII GPA Brunch at the Rusty Pelican.
