Important Hotel News!

The AWP Conference Committee has received word that the Wyndham Harbour Island Hotel (conference site) is completely booked for the dates of the conference (February 24th - 27th).

AWP has reserved a small number of additional rooms at the Mariott Tampa Waterside Hotel, about .8 mile away from the conference hotel (Harbour Island Wyndham).

To make reservations, call 1 800-228-9290 or 813- 221-4900. If you did not put yourself on Pat Rozee's list earlier this week, you might be able to get the contract rate ($189+tax) up until Feb. 7. The contract rate is not guaranteed once the room block is sold out, but you should request it in case they will extend the offer.

Other nearby hotels also are available on the Web at reasonable rates but a car might be needed. You definitely need to reserve soon, since rooms sell quickly at this time of year. We look forward to seeing you.
