• Reading should be done before the topic is covered in class. Not all reading and homework material will be directly covered by the lecture.
• Here is a link to Mastering Physics where you can do the online homework.  The first time you log in you must register as a new student.  There is a multi-digit acces code that comes with new books or must be purchased online if you have a used book.  There is a series of tutorial exercises in the first HW set that you should do to get familar with the HW system. 
  

• Once you enter your access code, then select the COURSE ID which is MPRAUE97000. 
• Each problem can be attempted 4 times before it is counted wrong, although incorrectly answering a multiple choice question reduces your credit each time it is answered incorrectly.
• Problems are assigned a point value equal to the number of parts in the problem.
• Late submissions are accepted up to 1 day late for half credit.
• All assignments are due at 2:00 PM on the due date unless otherwise noted in MP.
