Conference Theme: "Building the Inclusive Community: How You Can Influence and Create Public Policies That Affect You and Your Organization"

Conference Goals: To enhance an employee's or group of employees' ability to contribute to the progress of their organizations by influencing or creating public policies that affects them and/or their organizations.

Conference Outcomes/Benefits: We expect you to enhance your overall organization, department, and your career by learning how to make invaluable contributions, and get your points across to people who matter (decision-makers). This Conference will give you the tools, techniques, and the inspiration to make you more effective in your organization and in your profession.

FIU Advance Registration Fee: $65.00 per person (after May 6, $80.00)
Outside FIU Registration Fee: $75.00 per person (after May 6, $100.00)

Intended Audiences: All categories of employees (federal, State, & local governmental employees; public and private university and college employees - faculty, support personnel, administrative and temporary employees who wish to be heard and who wish to make enhancements in their organization and in their careers.

Solicitation for Your Involvement: Members from SUS BEA's and other organizations who are not presenting but who wish to serve on the program, can play a role in the conference by introducing speakers, acting as hosts, etc. call Dr. Mohamed NLT 4/26/99 at (305) 348-3388 to request the role you wish to play on the program.

Conference Dress Code: The dress code is strictly casual for everyone - attendees and speakers. This is intended to heighten the spirit of relaxation, camaraderie, networking, and learning.
