Meagan Dunphy-Daly (Major Advisor: Mike Heithaus) defended her

Kristen Kuehl (Major Advisor: Laurie Richardson) received a two-year
EPA-GRO grant to support her Master’s Thesis Research. Congratulations
Kristen!
Roxaneh Khorsand (Major Advisor: Suzanne Koptur recently received
two grants to support her research. She got a grant from the International
Palm Society ($4,500) and a grant from the Montgomery Botanical
Center. Congratulations Roxaneh!
Jeremy Vaudo (Major Advisor: Mike Heithaus) presented a co-authored
paper during the Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists
in Montreal Canada (July 24-28):: Factors Influencing the Abundance
of Sympatric Ray Species over a Shallow Sandflat in Shark Bay, Western
Australia (with Mike Heithaus).
Steven Whitfield (Major Advisor: Maureen Donnelly) presented a
co-authored paper during the Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and
Herpetologists in Montreal Canada (July 24-28): Decline and conservation
of amphibians in Central America. (with Karen Lips, Harold Heatwole,
and Maureen Donnelly).
James Watling (Major Advisor: Maureen Donnelly) recently published
