The first time WinONI is going to be used, the parameters have to be set, to do so, click on File and then on Parameters.

1) Type in:
Institution group: FI
Processing unit: FI
Oni group code: FI
Notis User Name: your userID EX: fcagaxx
Notis Password: yourpassword
Host Name: nermvs.nerdc.ufl.edu
Click on the down arrow next to Default transfer record type to select the type of transfer you are going to use the most. Then for the Input file directory browse to select the file where you saved your records.
Click on the small box next to the message "Delete input file after successful tranfer" to add a check mark.
In the Directory to save screen files: box, type in C:\Program Files\WinONI

2) Click on OK to close the parameters window.

3) A window opens up with the message Save changes? Click on Yes.
