Checking ONI Transfers

To see if the records oni'd properly ....

1. If you have to go into each record anyway (ex. to remove notes in the copy holdings screen) then you can check that way.

OR you can use the ONI report

1) In Nernotis, hit the clear key and type menu at the top and enter.

2) At the menu choose 27 for other misc. staff functions. At the next menu choose 6 for ONI Processing Status.

3) Choose 1 for FI (University Park Campus) or 2 for FN (North Campus)

4) Select the number for the type of search you want to see, for example number 4 for ONI screen number press Enter. Retrieve ONI STATUS REPORT screens, are searchable by:
5) Then from the report you can see all the info about the recods that have been oni'ed, like SCREEN NO., TYPE (type of command used), LOAD (if it transfered ok or not), ERROR (if any), RECORD NO. (OCLC number), DATE and SOURCE.

6) If there are no errors, then you are done. You can then return to nernotis. Hit clear and type ltfi, logoff, or whatever.

7) If there is an error and you want to see why then choose F4 to go back to the menu then

At ONI menu type 12 for "Records with errors."
