Text:   Kerr, JB. (1999) Atlas of Functional Histology.  N.B.   Students will be working in pairs and thus may wish to save money by buying a single text and sharing. The text will not be required for the first lab.

About the course:   Cell Biology Laboratory (PCB 4023L) is divided into two portions. The first part introduces the student to the principles of microscopy and the fundamentals of histological identification. The second portion introduces the student to some basic methods of cell analysis.
N.B.  Your lab grade will comprise 25% of your final grade in PCB 4023 (Cell Biology). Successful completion of the lab portion will fulfill one of the four labs required for the B.S. in Biological Sciences.
