Shadowing a dentist can benefit you in several ways:

·The program offers our members the opportunity to visit a dentist within the Miami-Dade County and experience first-hand what being a dentist is all about!

• It enables the student to become familiarized with dental terminology.
• It permits students to witness first-hand a wide variety of dental procedures which make dentistry such an exciting field!
• It gives students a better understanding and wider knowledge of the field of dentistry.
  
  Shadowing is an important part of a Pre-Dental student’s undergraduate experience. Dental schools are now requiring applicants to have at least seventy-five hours of shadowing before applying to dental school during an extended period of time. This program offers our members a variety of exceptional shadowing opportunities! The ultimate goal of the shadowing program is to provide our club members with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of what being a dentist is all about!
