How To Get Involved
DM is a great way to be involved with one the university’s largest student organizations. DM provides students with the opportunity to become part of a cause that affects the lives of thousands of children at Miami Children’s Hospital, learn the benefits of community service, networking opportunities, and enhances the overall college experience. Dance Marathon is the nation’s largest collegiate philanthropy!

Dancer Registration
A dancer is someone who has challenged themselves to be present at the event the entire 25 hours and raises a minimum of $130 for the event if registered before August 13, 2011. If a dancer registers between August 14 and November 10, 2011, the dancer will be responsible for raising a minimum of $140, If a dancer registers between November 10, 2011 and January 27, the dancer will need to raise a minimum of $150 and at the 2011 Dance Marathon, they will need to raise $160. You can register to be a dancer only online HERE. You will need your debit or credit card to register with your first $20 which will be deducted from your dancer total ($130, $140, $150 or $160 whichever applies.)

Delegates
What is a Dance Marathon Delegate?
A DM delegate is the key to a student organization team’s success. As a DM delegate you are the link between Dance Marathon steering committee and your organization. It is your responsibility as a delegate to attend delegate meetings and relay any important DM updates and information to your respective organization. This provides efficiency in communication between DM committee and all the student organization members who are interested in participating in DM. DM is FIU’s largest student-run philanthropy, and that is all made possible with the help of the student organizations that participate in this amazing cause. Without DM delegates, organizations would not be able to communicate as efficiently and participate as actively, all making a huge difference in many children’s lives.

Alumni Registration
Participants of previous DMs have left legacies for future FIU DMs to follow. Without their time, dedication, and ingenuity, DM would not have come as far as it has today. Are you DM alumni?
