Points System

In order to be considered an ACTIVE member, and be able to receive letter of active participation and graduate with recognition (stole and medallion), you must be able to accomplish 40% of activities offered by Beta Beta Beta and/or the University and their schools which are biology and/or science related.  These will be announced.

Activity and respective points:

• Inviting a guest speaker | 20 pts
• Conference Presentation and Attendance | 20 pts (+ 10 pts if not local)
• School Presentation | 15 pts
• Biology related field trips | 15 pts
• Community Service Activity | 15 pts
• End of semester party | 15 pts
• Conference Attendance | 10 pts
• Volunteer Activity | 10 pts
• Guest Speakers | 10 pts
• Fundraising | 10 pts
• General Meetings | 5 pts
• Biology Seminars | 5 pts
• Wearing T-shirt to events/meetings | 2 pts
• Other Events | TBD
