Animal Research

Research activity involving animals is subject to state and federal regulations. The Biosafety Program works in conjunction with the FIU Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) to provide guidelines and procedures to ensure that all students and employees involved in animal research activities understand and comply with the regulatory requirements.
