Arrested Writers of "The Homeland Belongs to All"

HAVANA, July 16 (Nestor Baguer, APIC) - After intensely searching their homes, agents of the Cuban Political Police arrested the members of the Cuban Dissidence Task Force Martha Beatriz Roque, Felix Bonne Carcaces, Vladimiro Roca y Rene Gomez Manzano. The independent journalist, Luis Lopez Prendes was also arrested

It is considered that this wave of arrests it is part of a preemptive repressive campaign aimed at neutralizing all dissidents, while Cuba host the Youth and Students International Festival. It is also thought that the arrests, may be linked to the explosions occurred at the Cohiba, National and Capri hotels

The Castroists being frustrated in their efforts to find the real culprits, unleash their revenge against the peaceful opposition and the independent journalists. We await for new arrest to take place in the following days.
