RECORDS
OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS AND TEST SCORES MUST BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS
FROM PREVIOUS INSTITUTIONS AND TESTING CENTERS AND BECOME THE SOLE PROPERTY OF FIU.
Official transcripts of academic records from each college or university attended must be forwarded by the previous institutions. Transcripts in the possession of applicants will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of all applicants to make arrangements to take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), as appropriate, and request that the Educational Testing Service mail the official test results directly to FIU. In addition, foreign applicants whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and have their scores submitted by the Educational Testing Service. Foreign applicants are also required to submit financial statements verifying adequate financial resources.
Medical History Reports are required of all students by the Student Health Services. Official completion and clearance of medical history and immunization reports are required in order to be able to register for classes.
Questions regarding housing and/or financial aid should be directed to the appropriate offices.
Disabled students should direct questions and concerns to the Office of Disabled Students.
