The impact of infrastructure development and modern construction management practices is known to be significant on the economy. These advanced practices when properly implemented have a very positive affect on the overall economical development of any country. Therefore, this international conference is being organized to promote advanced construction management practices and create awareness among industry professionals about their efficacy.
The main aim of this conference is to bring together renowned and qualified contractors, clients, academics and other professionals from all over the world, for the presentation and exchange of their thoughts and experiences on concepts, trends and practices of the present-day construction management tools, techniques and methodologies. ICCIDC-I was organized in Karachi, Pakistan from August 4-5 2008. More than 60 Papers were published in the conference proceedings .
