- The course grade will be based on the average of three non-cumulative exams.
-There are no make-up exams and you can only take the exam at the specfied exam dates. Please remember to bring with you a  No 2 pencil.

- Homework problems will be assigned for each book chapter. These are given to you for practice, review and thought. In addition you will be given a web-based e-homework for each chapter. You are expected to complete these by the due date in order to successfully practice for the exams.  Answers will be posted shortly after the due dates.

- Attendance of the lectures is required. Most (but  not all) of the material is included in the text. However, by attending the lectures you will have a better idea on which are the most important points you need to emphasize when studying.
Pop-quizzes may be given at random dates during class for up to 5% extra-credit. Those quizzes will check basic concepts just introduced in class.
