Juan "Manny" Rosario, Library Technical Assistant supervisor, North Campus Reades Services Department, is employee of the month for august. He joined our staff comparatively recently, in August, 1995, but has already assumed major responsibility.

He came to us as Stack Supervisor and was soon put to work supervising a complete shift of the collection. Since the shift, he has supervised a massive shelf-reading project that continues at the present time. In April, he was promoted to his current LTA Supervisor position and added North Campus Circulation and Reserves to his responsibility. In July, he supervised the effort to erect new shelving and shift the bound periodicals collection.

In the words of his supervisor, Lee Keene, "Manny's work is of the highest quality and has greatly improved access to the collection. His next project will be implementation of electronic reserves. He has already begun learning HTML and web page creation."

Manny Rosario's strong service ethic, warm personality, and excellent work make him a valued addition to our North Campus reader services staff and richly deserving of this award
