Employee of the Month June 2001

It gives me great pleasure to announce that our Employee of the Month for June is Saadia Qureshi. She serves as Senior Library Technical Assistant in the Documents Section, Reader Services Department, Biscayne Bay Campus Library.

Her position requires a high degree of specialized knowledge relating to government documents, the use of library management software, and software applications necessary for maintaining statistics and enhancing the processing of documents. It also requires great attention to detail; the supervision of student assistants; and frequent interaction with faculty, staff, students, and members of the general public.

Elain Winske, Saadia's supervisor, describes her as ". . . conscientious, very personable, and a welcome addition to the library staff."
