Employee of the Month June 2002

It is my pleasure to announce that Jude Cobham, Senior Library Technical Assistant in charge of Audiovisual Services and Reserves at BBC Library, is once again being recognized as Employee of the Month. Jude is credited with bringing about significant improvements in the operation of his two sections since he assumed responsibility for them in March, 2001.

In the Audiovisual Section, he has improved maintenance of audio materials, improved arrangement of video collections, created an index of film collections on reel, and provided prompt and accurate service for the intercampus loan of visual materials.

In reserves, he has successfully promoted and implemented the use of electronic online reserves, composed a manual of technical procedures, trimmed and updated reserve holdings, and maintained excellent relations with the using public.

According to his supervisor, "Personal service, patience, and attention to detail contribute to his value as a member of the library staff."
