It gives me great pleasure to inform you that Aminta Mayorga is the Employee of the Month for May.

Ms. Mayorga is one of a number of unsung heroes who work quietly and efficiently at the important job of tracking and paying the multitude of invoices received by the library. She works diligently and with dedication, completing her work both without fanfare and without error.

Aminta began work in Acquisitions as Clerk Specialist September 29, 1989. In 1992 she was promoted to Fiscal Assistant. She is responsible for paying all invoices and statements from vendors. She is extremely accurate in the very detailed statistical work which comprises the main part of her responsibilities. She is always very pleasant and helpful to others, no matter how busy she is ญญ both to those within and those outside the department. She is always willing to take on additional work as needed within Acquisitions. She provides steady, competent control over the variety of expenditures that are handled by Acquisitions.

Aminta Mayorga is an employee valued by all of us, both exemplary and typical of many without whom the library could not function, and richly deserving of recognition as Employee of the Month.
