It gives me great pleasure to announce that Beverly Paden is Employee of the Month for May.

Beverly has been Library Technical Assistant in Circulation for just under one year. In that brief period of time, she has established a reputation for hard work, dependability, and dedication to serving the University Community.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in May of 1993. Prior to that time, she worked for over ten years in insurance, dealing with claims up to $100,000. At FIU, she is in charge of services and staffing of the Circulation Desk.

In her brief time with us, Ms. Paden has become a distinct asset to the Reader Services area of University Park Library and it is a privilege to recognize her work and service to students and faculty through this award.
