Employee of the Month November 2000

It is my pleasure to announce that Olga Urrea, Senior Library Technical Assistant in the Acquisition Section of the Biscayne Bay Campus Library, is our Employee of the Month for November. She joined our staff in April, 1998, after having worked at the former Instructional Media Production Center as a graphic designer for some years. Olga is responsible for the receipt and processing of approval books as well as gifts. i

Ms Urrea's supervisor indicates, "Olga is a creative and persistent worker. She has been a valuable addition to the Library. Her dedication and commitment to the improvement of her work, her work environment, and her co-workers well-being warrants recognition and appreciation." In addition, Ms Urrea takes great interest in the further development of her job skills through frequent attendance at workshops and seminars.
