Employee of the Month
November 2002

It is a pleasure to confirm the designation of Alicia Padilla as Employee of the Month for November. Alicia has been with the University Libraries for over twenty years. Her cheerful and welcoming approach to all who visit her area are well known to the entire library staff.

Alicia enters requests for items in the NOTIS system, processes orders in the Yankee Book Peddler's GOBI system, and is in charge of mending monographs in need of repair. One of her current projects has been to assist in the binding of musical scores which will help preserve these materials for future use. According to her supervisor, "Alicia is always willing to help out where needed regardless of department or project. Her flexibility and cheerfulness are always appreciated."

Congratulations, Alicia, on this recognition!
