Employee of the Month November 1998

I am pleased to announce that our Employee of the Month for November is Robert Pacheco. Robert supervises the Microform Room and the Information Desk at University Park Library. He also provides reference assistance at the Reference Desk and teaches several classes per week as part of the Library Instruction Program.

Robert's experience as a graduate student provides him with a useful perspective for library service. The needs of the student and of the researcher are always his primary concern. He supervises many students in key "front line" positions, and he holds them to a high standard of service. Robert is excellent in the classroom, combining his database skills with his empathy for the students.

We have all had occasion to appreciate his "can do" attitude during the past few years of his service in the library. I know you will join me in congratulating him for this well-deserved recognition.
