Employee of the Month November 1999

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Marie Reveil, Stack Maintenance Supervisor at North Campus Library, is our Employee of the Month for November. She joined us in February, 1995, as an OPS student in the NC Intercampus/Interlibrary Loan Section. She was promoted to her current Senior LTA position in April of last year.

Marie's job is critical to anyone in need of locating print materials in North Campus Library. Whether or not materials are kept in good order often determines whether a title is accessible and usable. Her job is also challenging, something that came to the fore during the recent shift of library collections, not to mention the recarpeting of North Campus Library.

In the words of her supervisor, "Marie is consistently helpful and has displayed unusual flexibility both in her daily responsibilities and in carrying out major projects needed to improve storage and accessibility of library collections." Her reliability and dedication to the University Libraries renders her extremely deserving of this recognition.
