Employee of the Month October 2000

It is a pleasure to announce that our Employee of the Month for October is Annya Polselli. She is Senior Library Technical Assistant in the Intercampus Loan/Interlibrary Loan Section in Biscayne Bay Campus Library.

According to her supervisor, Annya is bright, hard-working, and quickly learned the basics of ICL and ILL. In short order, she set about improving work procedures that, in part, resulted in increasing the fill rate for incoming loan requests by 100% within four months. She attended a number of SEFLIN-sponsored workshops and has been eager to apply what she had learned in her day-to-day job activities.

As with all good interlibrary loan people, Ms. Polselli is energetic and persistent. Her dedication and commitment to service make her a welcome addition to the BBC staff.
