TEXTBOOK: Slonczewski + Foster, 2009. Microbiology An Evolving Science, 2nd Edition, W.W. Norton Pub. FIU Bookstore could try to sell you Edition 1 rather than the current edition and it sells this at a price higher than suggested RETAIL! From the publisher you can get the e-book (downloaded chapters for $2/chapter). You can get a good price on a used book on ebay or other Web booksellers.
Exams and Grading Policies
PLEASE use the Textbook's (Slonczewski and Foster,2009, Microbiology An Evolving Science) Web Site for practice exams (multiple choice and written) for each chapter. And, MOST IMPORTANTLY TEST YOUR KNOWLEDGE with the book closed well before the exam.
