Research Focus I am currently a PhD biology graduate student in Dr. Rebecca Vega-Thurber’s laboratory. My general research interests are focused around marine microbial ecology. Eukaryotes, Bacteria, and Archaea, as well as their numerous virus counterparts comprise an interrelated network that makes up the microbial community with which we live in constant contact. I’m particularly interested in how bacterial predators and virus contribute to the overall structure of microbial communities.
