Cardinalate. Created cardinal bishop of Palestrina ca. 1043 or 1044 (1). Consecrated (no information found). He subscribed a privilege for the patriarchate of Grado in April 1044. Consecrated the altar of the deaconry of S. Agata, Rome, during the pontificate of Pope Leo IX (2).

I, indicates that it was his predecessor of the same name, created cardinal by Pope John XIX, who consecrated that altar.
