Participated in the papal election of 1118, in which Pope Gelasius II was elected; he was one of the co-consecrators of the new pope on March 9, 1118 in Gaeta. Ratified, with the cardinals in Rome, the election of Pope Callistus II, which took place in Cluny in 1119. Subscribed a papal bull issued between January 3, 1121 and June 4, 1124.Participated in the papal election of 1124, in which Pope Honorius II was elected; he was one of the co-consecrators of the new pope on December 21, 1124 in Rome. Subscribed a papal bull issued between March 7, 1125 and March 28, 1126.

Participated in the papal election of 1118, in which Pope Gelasius II was elected. With the cardinals in Rome, ratified the election of Pope Callistus II, which had taken place in Cluny in 1119. The new pope sent him to Benevento to mediate in a dispute between the abbot of the monastery of S. Pietro and the one of S. Maria. Subscribed papal bulls issued between March 4 and November 10, 1121.
