Cardinalate. Created cardinal bishop of Porto e Santa Rufina in the consistory of Saturday of Pentecost 1186. Consecrated (no information found). Did not participate in the first papal election of 1187, in which Pope Gregory VIII was elected. Did not participate in the second papal election of 1187, in which Pope Clement III was elected.

Death. Ca. 1189, Rome. Buried (no information found).

Birth. (No date found), Soliac, Berry, France. Second of the six children of Archambaud, sire de Sully, third count of Bourbon, and Mahaut de Boisgency. Relative of the royal families of France and England. His last name is also listed as Sulli.

Education. Entered the Order of the Cistercians in the diocese of Senlis.

Priesthood. Ordained (no further information found). Archmandrite of the monastery Callense, diocese of Senlis. Abbot of the monastery of Notre-Dame de Saint-Lieu.

Episcopate. Elected patriarch and archbishop of Bourges in 1183. Consecrated by Cardinal Uberto Crivelli, future Pope Urban III.

Cardinalate. Created cardinal priest in the consistory of Saturday of Pentecost 1186; his title is unknown. Legate in Aquitaine. Consecrated the church of Saint-Pierre, Saintes, in the presence of the archbishop of Bourdeaux. Did not participate in any of the conclaves celebrated during his cardinalate.

Death. September 1200, Bourges. Buried in the Cistercian monastery of Notre-Dame de Saint-Lieu, with a brief epitaph.

Pietro sino ai nostri giorni, XXIX, 88, says that he was created cardinal by Pope Honorius II in December 1125 and that he subscribed a papal bull on July 21, 1126, in favor of Rogerio, archbishop of Pisa; that he opted for the order of cardinal priests and the title of S. Lorenzo in Lucina; and that he died during the pontificate of that pope, which ended on February 14, 1130. He may be the same as Cardinal Ugo Geremei (1125).

Education. Entered the Order of Saint Benedict (Benedictines) in the monastery of S. Sisto in Piacenza.

Priesthood. Ordained (no further information found). Elected abbot of the monastery of S. Sisto in Piacenza.

Cardinalate. Created cardinal deacon of Ss. Cosma e Damiano in the consistory of Saturday of Pentecost 1186. There is no record that he participated in any of the conclaves that took place during his cardinalate. Some sources doubt that he was ever created cardinal (1).

Death. 1229, (no place found). Buried (no information found).
