Birth. (No date found), château of Miramont, Guyenne, diocese of Toulouse, France. His last name is also listed as Falterie, Falquier, Faltier, Faugier and Faugères.

Education. (No education found).

Early life. Archdeacon and provost of Arles in 1306.

Episcopate. Elected archbishop of Arles, January 30, 1308; occupied the see until his promotion to the cardinalate. Consecrated (no information found).

Cardinalate. Created cardinal bishop of Sabina in the consistory of December 19, 1310. Named legate in Rome, with Cardinals Francesco Napoleone Orsini and Niccolò Alberti, O.P., to crown Emperor Henry VII on June 29, 1312, in the patriarchal Lateran basilica; he left Avignon on June 19, 1311 and returned on October 6, 1313. Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Church around 1312. Participated in the conclave of 1314-1316, which elected Pope John XXII.

Death. September 12, 1317, Avignon. Buried in the church of Saint-Pierre de la Romieu, near Condom.

Death. September 12, 1311 (1), Avignon. Buried in the collegiate church of Notre Dame de Uzeste, where later was buried Pope Clement V.

Birth. (No date found), Saverdun, county of Foix, Uncle of Pope Benedict XII, on his mother's side. His last name is also listed as Novelli and Nouveau.

Education. Entered the Order of Cîteaux (Cistercians) in the monastery of Boulbonne.

Priesthood. Professor at the University of Toulouse before entering the religious life. Ordained (no further information found). Abbot of Fontfroide, Narbonne, until 1310. Vice-chancellor of the Holy Roman Church, 1306 (or second half of 1307) until his death. He was one of the delegates commissioned to investigate the inquisitorial processes of Bishop Bernard de Castanet of Albi, future cardinal, in July 1307. He was a friend of Pope Clement V.

Cardinalate. Created cardinal priest of S. Prisca in the consistory of December 19, 1310. Participated in the conclave of 1314-1316, which elected Pope John XXII. Named administrator of the title of S. Lorenzo in Damaso in 1311; and its commendatario on July 25, 1317. Legate in England in 1312 to negotiate the peace between the king and the English lords; his mediation was not successful.

Death. August 14, 1317, Avignon. Buried in the abbey of Fontfroide, Narbonne (1).

Birth. (No date found), Fargues, Bordeaux, France. Son of Béranger-Guilhem de Farges and Marquise (or Marquize) de Got. Nephew of Pope Clement V, on his mother's side. Cousin of Cardinal Raymond de Got (1305). His first name is also listed as Raimond and Raimondo; and his last name as Fargis.

Early life. Treasurer of the cathedral chapter of Beauvais. Dean of Salisbury, 1311-1346.; its archdeacon in 1312. Canon of the cathedral chapter of Bayeux; later, ca. 1313, its dean. He had only received the minor orders when promoted to the cardinalate.

Cardinalate. Created cardinal deacon of S. Maria Nuova in the consistory of December 19, 1310. Participated in the conclave of 1314-1316, which elected Pope John XXII. Participated in the conclave of 1334, which elected Pope Benedict XII. Cardinal protodeacon in March 1342. Participated in the conclave of 1342, which elected Pope Clement VI.

Death. October 5, 1346 (1), Toulouse. Buried (no information found).

Cardinalate. Created cardinal deacon of S. Agata alla Suburra in the consistory of December 19, 1310. Participated in the conclave of 1314-1316, which elected Pope John XXII. Opted for the order of cardinal priests and the title of S. Clemente on December 18, 1316.

Death. 1328, Avignon. Buried in the church of the Franciscans (Cordeliers) in Avignon.
