Student WebCT Log-in Instructions

1. Open Netscape Navigator (versions 4.76, 4.77 are recommended) or Internet Explorer (versions 5.5 SP2 or 6.0 SP1 are recommended).

2. To enter the WebCT login page, go to the FIU home page (www.fiu.edu)
   
   OR type webct.fiu.edu in the Address/Location box near the top of the browser window.
   
   From FIU homepage:
1. Scroll down the page and click on WebCT link at bottom-left of page
2. When WebCT Login window opens, click on Login to myWebCT

3. When Password window opens, type in your username and password to enter WebCT

1. The username is case sensitive. For students, the username is ALL CAPS.
2. Your username is your userid from your FIU e-mail address. (If your e-mail address is fgarcia01@fiu.edu then your username in WebCT is FGARCIA01.)

Note: Students are assigned an e-mail account and address when they enroll. If you don’t know it, you can access your e-mail address on the University web site at http://www.fiu.edu/docs/webmail.htm. The page has a link to instructions for students who are logging in for the first time.

3. Your WebCT password is your social security number, without dashes or spaces.

4. When your myWebCT window opens, you will see a list of the WebCT courses for which you’re registered. Click on a course title link to enter a course.
