1. The name, date, and fate of the legislative act meant by Congress to replace the RFRA.
2. The court case in which the phrase "wall of separation" of church and state was first used, setting the precedent for future use.
3. Proposed or adopted legislation on whether priests/ministers/rabbis can tell parishioners who to vote for in sermons.
4. At least 3 religious groups that have wound up in court because of their practices, and have claimed “freedom of religion” as their defense. What were the cases and what was decided?
5. Current (within two years) poll results of Americans’
attitudes toward some (any) issue of church and state. Identify the
poll, date, results.
