For professionals and consumers, this is an annual update of the older population: Includes statistics and projections for future growth plus information on marital status, living arrangements, ethnic composition, geographic distribution, income, employment, education and health of older Americans. Handbook on Women and Aging (2001). For professionals, this textbook provides a comprehensive overview of current research on woman and aging. Chapters are written by expert contributors and are grouped in sections devoted to historical and theoretical views, economic concerns, health and lifestyle issues, demographic information, and relationships.
