Administrative Computing is responsible for the computer
systems which support the
activities of the administrative offices of the University. These systems
operate on local computing platforms (AS/400, RS6000/SP, NT servers) and
on IBM ES/9000 mainframes in Tallahassee. Various State of Florida
systems are
maintained, and local systems are developed as required.
Administrative Systems maintains
Student systems (admissions, financial aid, registration, student
advising (SASS), grades, transcripts, and cashiering), and
Financial systems (personnel/payroll, fiscal systems (SAMAS),
and property inventory).
