Large scale administrative systems currently at FIU include: IBM AS/400 and two IBM RISC6000's. The AS/400 has 160 megabytes main memory, 10 gigabytes mass storage and 2-tape drives.

The three administrative machines in current use are for support of some University administrative fiscal and student data systems.
