Sections 5.4-5.10; 6.1-6.6; 7.1-7.5, 7.7, 7.8; 9.1-9.10, 10.1-10.3.

Tests and Quizzes policy:

  • There will be two (2) midterm exams worth 100 points each. The dates are 10/7 and 11/18. There are no make-up exams. With a valid, verifiable reason for missing a test, a waiver may be granted for the missed examination.
  • One Comprehensive, mandatory final exam: The final exam is worth 120 points. The date and time are Friday, December 9, 2011, DM110: 945-1145. If unable to take the final exam as scheduled and with a valid, verifiable reason, one may request a make-up exam to be scheduled for the final week of the Spring 2012 semester. If rescheduling is granted, then an Incomplete grade will be assigned to the student.
  • Quizzes: Four quizzes worth 20 points each; Dates: 9/9, 9/23; 10/21, 11/4. There are no make-ups, no waivers for missed quizzes.

    Grades: Grades will be assigned on the basis of 400 points.
