Personal Philosophy of Education
I believe it is every teacher's responsibility to personify academic excellence and exemplify faith in student achievement.   I believe each teacher is responsible for their student's perception of their particular subject matter.  As such, an effective teacher strives to impact student expectations, self-efficacy and achievement in a positive way, through the creative delivery of their subject matter and the impartation of empowerment.  The excellent teacher is always evolving and challenging themselves to be a better educator and better human being and, in doing so, encourages everyone in their circle of influence to accomplish more.

Future Professional Goals
Professionally I would like to develop activities and/or academic programs that address a variety of learning styles and empower teachers and students to be successful in the area of mathematics. I want to unlock the barriers to understanding that prevent teachers from imparting mathematics in a language students understand and crave.
