International Student Night Hosted by FIU Athletics in Collaboration with ISSS

FIU Athletics honored international student athletes at the FIU women’s basketball game against Middle Tennessee State on February 24 in the U.S. Century Bank Arena.  Prior to the game, they hosted a pizza social for international students and for various cultural student organizations on campus.  Half-time festivities included a Parade of Flags, a free-throw competition for international students and giveaways.  The Office of International Student & Scholar Services and the International Student Club are collaborating with FIU Athletics to coordinate this event designed to recognize the diversity of our athletic programs and to encourage international students to attend FIU games.
