On February 23, over 50 candidates from all across the country traveled to FIU for SAGA Days 2012, hoping to make a home here in the Higher Education Administration Master’s program. They interviewed for 18 Graduate Assistantship positions, some within the Division of Student Affairs and others in our partnering programs, such as Academic Advising and Hospitality Management.
The three-day event included interviews, tours, and lectures on both campuses as well an opening dinner sponsored by Campus Life MMC, and breakfast and a luncheon at the Biscayne Bay campus sponsored by Campus Life BBC. Current graduate students acted as hosts for the candidates, and planned social events at Dolphin Mall and Bayside. Overall the program was a success and we are very excited to welcome a new class of Higher Education graduate students to FIU in the fall.
