Mentoring Partnership Program
The Women’s Center and Alumni Relations are excited to announce the start of the 2010-2011 Mentoring Partnerships Program. The goal of the Mentoring Partnerships Program is to develop community amongst a diverse group of women faculty, staff, community members and students who support each others’ personal, academic and professional growth. The Women’s Center and Office of Alumni Relations facilitate programs throughout the year to enhance the development of this relationship.
Faculty, staff, alumna, community members and students are encouraged to apply by the September 3rd deadline. If you are interested, please visit our website at http://women.fiu.edu/mpp.htm to register and complete your mentor profile.
"Being a mentor with the Women's Center has allowed me the opportunity to get to know an amazing young woman. I actually feel sometimes as if I am learning far more from her than she is from me. I thoroughly enjoy our time together and the amazing woman that is my mentee."
Martha Barantovich, Adjunct Faculty, College of Education
