Time to Review Competency Plans

Dear Colleagues,

As we have reached the end of the spring semester, the Staff Development Committee would like to take a moment to remind you about the Competency Model Development Plans that you completed last fall. The annual evaluation process will be taking place in the next couple months, at which time you will be asked to revisit the goals that you set related to your development and establish new ones for the upcoming year.

At this time, we encourage you to dust off your Development Plans and see what progress you’ve made on your goals thus far. There is ample time to complete anything that remains unfinished before the review time is upon us this summer. We hope that you’ve found the Staff Development programs that have been provided this year to have been helpful in working towards some of your competency areas, and know that the group will continue in this effort to help make us all the best student affairs professionals we can be.
