Graduate Student Kelvin Rodriguez wins national case study competition
Each year The Association of Fraternity Advisors (AFA) holds a case student competition during their annual meeting. The AFA/Order of Omega Case Study Competition is a unique opportunity for graduate student teams to test their problem solving skills in the area of fraternity and sorority advising. Pairs of students enrolled in Master's level programs are given a real life fraternity/sorority scenario that will challenge them to provide the strongest and most resourceful solution before a panel of "seasoned" professional judges.
Kelvin Rodriguez and his partner (Julia Roberts from Grand Valley State University) were awarded first place in the annual competition, beating out several other graduate teams. Kelvin currently serves as the Graduate Assistant for the Office of Campus Life and works directly with our fraternities and sororities. He hails from Danbury, Connecticut and will be graduating in May 2008 with a Master's degree in Higher Education.
Congratulations Kelvin!
