Members of the Division of Student Affairs were active in presenting programs at regional and national conferences this past academic year.

These presentations provide the opportunity for our staff to add to the knowledge in our profession, by sharing current research or best practices. Congratulations to our following colleagues who presented:
- Rosie Porreca (Recreation Services) presented at the Emerging Recreational Sports Leaders (ERSL) Conference “The Yellow Brick Road: A Personalized Pathway to Becoming a Leader”.
- Christina Fisher Reddick (Campus Recreation) presented at the Athletic Business Conference “Summer Camp Anyone, The Fun Way to Increase Revenue and Generate Profits”.
- Suzanne Onorato (Women’s Center) and Bronwen Bares (Center for Leadership and Services) presented at the NASPA conference “Women Who Lead: Developing Partnerships between Academic and Student Affairs”.
- Dr. Kate Kominars (Office of Employee Assistance) and Dr. Mary Wilkes (Director of the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program at Florida State University) presented at the International Association of Employee Assistance Professionals in Education “Compassion Fatigue on our Campuses: Managing the Costs of Caring”.
- Adam Schwarz (Residential Life) presented at the RELI (Regional Entry-Level Institute) SEAHO Conference “Equipping Professionals for Take Off”.
- Sue Bebee (Residential Life) presented at the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers conference “Speed Mentoring”.
- Imani Fredericks-Lowman, Lauren Hubacheck-Butler, Kyra Spence and Ivette Durate (Career Services) presented at the Florida Career Professional Association, “Building Strategic Alliances through High Touch Employer Engagement”.
- Kyra Spence, Lauren Hubacheck-Butler, Jose Toscano and Donna Lee, Associate Director at Florida Atlantic University (Career Services) presented at the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoAce) “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique: What is Dress for Success?”.
- Mario Rodriguez (Career Services) presented at the Western Regional Career Student Affairs Day “Learn from Professionals of Color” and “Reflections on Graduate School: Student Panel”.
- Shawna McNair, Brad Shuck, Lauren Hubacheck-Butler, Natasha Stubbs, and Yisell Cirron (Career Services) presented at the Florida Career Professionals Association (FCPA) “Closing the Gap between Students and Service – Career Coaching at its Best”.
- Hilarion “Lari” Martinez and Ivette Durante (Career Services) presented at the Florida Career Professional Association “The State Department and Federal Agencies – Identifying Opportunities and Resources”.
