Libby Kirsch

This past October, Libby Kirsch was recognized with one of the Division’s Distinguished Performance Awards for Supervisor of the Year.

Libby Kirsch has been with the Children’s Creative Learning Center on campus for 32 years and currently serves as the Associate Director of the Center.

As student affairs professionals, we hope to lead by example, pass on knowledge we have learned in academia or through experience, establish new concepts, build on foundations, and create relationships that foster an open, amiable learning environment. Libby Kirsch actively embodies these ideals. During her tenure, Libby has served the Center in a variety of roles, always with the interest of the Center and the families it serves in mind. Libby demonstrates consideration, professionalism, and encouragement toward the staff and children. One colleague who nominated Libby for the award stated, “Libby is a true role model, balancing challenging students as well as providing support while genuinely caring for all employees at the center.” Ms. Kirsch’s selfless and sincere work has given her the appreciation and admiration of her staff.
