Ricardo Molina

This past fall Ricardo Molina was recognized with one of the Division’s Distinguished Performance Awards for Customer Service.

The Customer Service Award recognizes an individual who always demonstrates professionalism by serving the needs of the University community. This individual takes the extra step to ensure that all students/clients feel important and welcome, that expectations are not only met, but exceeded.

Ricardo Molina has been with the University for 16 years. He is currently a Custodial Supervisor for the Graham Center. Ricardo has worked selflessly to ensure that the events that take place in the Graham Center run smoothly. He is responsible for the setup of over 7,000 annual events hosted in the building. One of Ricardo’s nominators wrote, “Without the help of Ricardo and the GC custodial staff, our Orientation programs would not be as successful.” When hurricane season arrives, Ricardo works to ensure that GC is ready for Mother Nature. You can find Ricardo folding the umbrellas outside, clearing out the loading dock, and helping secure office equipment. And when the hurricane hits, you’ll find Ricardo on campus, making sure that our students and guests are served. Ricardo has constantly gone beyond the call of duty, always with a great, positive attitude.
